Our Mission
Children's Miracle Network is the alliance of premier hospitals for children.
Children's Miracle Network is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals. Together, these hospitals provide state-of-the-art care for all children. Funds raised through Children's Miracle Network are used to ensure the existence of specialized care, to purchase life-saving equipment, to conduct research, and to fund outreach and prevention programs.
Together, Children's Miracle Network hospitals create one of the strongest international children's causes in the world. No other organization directly impacts as many kids through care, research, and outreach programs.
Our History
Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of children's hospitals. It was co-founded in 1983 by entertainers Marie Osmond and John Schneider.
Children's Miracle Network is an organization that actively provides better healthcare for millions of children through its 170 associated hospitals throughout North America. Children's Miracle Network's founding pledge, to keep 100 percent of donations in the area in which they were raised and to put children first in all it does, remains at the core of its philosophy.
Each year, hundreds of special events are organized and executed under the Children's Miracle Network umbrella in communities across North America.
The television broadcast remains the largest Children's Miracle Network annual event. Like past broadcasts, the 2005 Celebration Broadcast featured entertainment and sports personalities and educational, entertaining and informative programming.
